Every train horn owner is a little bit of an outlaw and now you can have the train horn that represents that same attitude. Our Outlaw Black Train Horn features three large metal alloy bells with a stealthy black finish, perfect for anyone that wants their train horn kit to have a low profile. The three chimes come on a matching stealth black bracket that includes a pre-installed 3/8" valve to activate the horns. While not tuned to the US Train Horn Chord like some of our other horns, the tone of our Outlaw Black Train Horn is low, deep and full just like the high-dollar train horns and is one of the most popular and loudest train horns we carry. 3-Chime Construction This 3-chime setup allows for a unique combination of notes to create that train horn tone we all know and love. Each bell is loaded with 3.5" stainless steel diaphragms. This means the diaphragms will never rust out and this horn will last for years to come. Stainless Steel Diaphragms This horn will never rust out. We have found stainless steel diaphragms to be the best choice for these horns. Our goal was to design a horn that can live on vehicles for many years. This horn has surpassed our expectations. Pre-installed Solenoid Valve This horn features a pre-installed solenoid valve. This makes your install even easier as this horn is ready to accept 1/2" air line. Just wire your solenoid to an activation switch and ground. Couldn't be easier! Deep Tone This horn was designed with a large throat for a deep tone. These horn bells are significantly bigger than most others. This allows the horn to have a much deeper tone without becoming too large. Manifold Design This horn features an L-bracket for easy install. This can be mounted directly to the vehicle with the provided hardware to make your install seamless. No fabrication required! Fully Rebuildable Not only are these horns incredibly loud, but they are also serviceable. If you end up with a bunch of road debris or dirt in your horn, we offer a rebuild kit for these horns. The solenoid valve is also replaceable as well should anything ever happen to it. The horn bells themselves cannot be removed from the manifold. Onboard Air System Requirements Recommended Air System This horn is not picky about the air you supply to it. We have found that this horn will still sound off with just 50 PSI! We recommend running 150 PSI to these horns, as we have found that they sound their best and are their loudest @ 150 PSI. You can expect up to 5-7 Seconds of honk time with a 2-gallon tank at 150 PSI. 1/2" Air line is recommended. Any smaller and the airflow will be limited. Mounting this horn This horn can be mounted nearly anywhere on your vehicle. You can even mount it to the roof! We typically see these installed on trucks in the spare tire location. This allows you to tuck the horn up under the truck without it hanging down too low. Additionally, it may be a good idea to angle it to either the drivers or passengers side of the vehicle. This helps prevent any road debris from getting into the horn and clogging up the internals.
